Publication Ethics & Malpractice Statement

Publication ethics framework for Indian Journal of Law and Jurisprudence.

IJLJ requires original, unpublished work. The journal follows commonly accepted publication-ethics practices and investigates allegations of misconduct.

Originality and exclusivity

All works must be original and unpublished, and must not be pending for review before any other journal. Submitted manuscripts should not be simultaneously considered by any other publication at the time of submission. The author undertakes to inform IJLJ immediately if a manuscript under consideration, or a published manuscript, is under consideration for publication elsewhere.

Plagiarism

Any form of plagiarism will result in immediate disqualification for publication.

Authorship

Up to two co-authors are allowed for all categories, except Case Comments and Legislative Comments, where co-authorship is not permitted. All named authors must have contributed to the work and approve the submitted version.

Complaints and appeals

Complaints may be sent to editorinchief.ijlj@gmail.com marked Complaint. The Editor-in-Chief acknowledges within 7 days and responds substantively within 30 days.

Conflicts of interest

Authors must disclose all financial and non-financial interests. Reviewers and editors must declare conflicts and recuse themselves where a conflict exists.

Intellectual property

Authors of articles published in Indian Journal of Law and Jurisprudence remain the copyright holders and grant third parties the right to use, reproduce, and share the article according to the Creative Commons license agreement.

Editorial discretion

IJLJ reserves all the right to reject any paper at any stage of the publication process at the complete discretion of the editorial board.
